Maddalena Polletta

MANOVERBOARD.com is pleased to present selections from a small hand-made masterpiece by Maddalena Polletta. The work, Natural History, takes the shape of a yellow bag filled with highly memorable and provocative ideas and images printed in three small books -- Museum, Questions, and Natural History.

The limited edition work, produced in 2001 by fleabites press, N.Y.C., represents a kind of questioning of individual identity, the demarcations between animal and human, and the the relationship between families and their individual parts. It's awfully nicely produced as well.
